THE STORY

Rum is the most versatile spirit there is, but it is also the most misunderstood.

Founded in 2023 by bartender and bar owner, Lewis Hayes, DropWorks is built on a simple belief: everyone deserves to experience “the good stuff”, not just the experts. After thousands of rums tasted, Lewis saw a category crowded with shortcuts and artificial flavourings and set out to offer something honest, creative and transparent.

At our state‑of‑the‑art distillery on the Welbeck Estate in Nottinghamshire, we craft every Drop from scratch. Grade A molasses, long fermentations with our wild Trinity yeast and three bespoke copper stills, including England’s first double retort, give us the freedom to build real depth of flavour and create different styles without needing to add artificial flavourings or glycerol.

Experience natural, crafted and unexpectedly British rum, designed with bartenders, made for everyone and created to shine in cocktails, long drinks or simply over ice.
