DISTILLERY TOUR – HYGIENE DECLARATION

Dear Visitor,

As you and your group will be entering a food and drink production area during your visit to DropWorks Distillery, we ask all visitors to follow the hygiene requirements below.

Please do not attend the distillery if:

  • You or any member of your group has experienced vomiting or diarrhoea within the previous 24 hours.
  • You or any member of your group has any other illness or symptoms that could present a food hygiene risk.
  • You or any member of your group has been in contact with someone suffering from a significant stomach illness and is developing symptoms themselves.

If you or a member of your group has experienced sickness or diarrhoea, you must wait at least 24 hours after the last episode before attending a distillery tour.

During the tour:

  • Please follow all instructions given by your tour guide or distillery staff.
  • Visitors may be provided with a hair net when viewing fermentation vessels or entering designated production areas.
  • Hair nets must be worn correctly when provided.
  • Visitors who do not wear the required hair net will not be permitted to look into fermentation vessels or enter areas where the hair net is required.
  • Please do not touch ingredients, equipment, vessels, product or production surfaces unless specifically instructed by a member of staff.
  • Please do not bring any known allergens such as peanuts to the distillery.
  • Please inform your tour guide if you or a member of your group has any cuts, wounds or other conditions that may affect hygiene.
  • Good personal hygiene must be maintained throughout the visit.

These requirements are in place to protect our products, our customers and our visitors, and to maintain the high standards of hygiene expected within our production facility.

By completing your booking, you confirm that you and all members of your group have read and agree to comply with these hygiene requirements. You are responsible for ensuring that all members of your group are aware of these requirements before attending the tour.

Thank you for helping us maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
