Founder and Master Distiller Lewis Hayes

Working in partnership

DropWorks has been the house rum for THE PIG Hotels, a collection of premium hotels that champion sustainability, heritage and British-made products for over 2 years, it is truly the perfect pairing! Founder and Master Distiller, Lewis Hayes, has been criss-crossing the UK training bartenders at each location, making sure every DropWorks cocktail is poured to perfection, helping to make every guest experience second to none. Lewis sat down with THE PIG’s Beverage Director, Sam Vesey, who shared why he loves DropWorks:

DropWorks is the perfect UK rum to align with THE PIG ethos. Delicious, sustainable & mixes brilliantly into our garden cocktails” – Sam Vesey, Beverage Director at THE PIG Hotels.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Do you offer rum for bars and restaurants?
A: Yes. DropWorks welcomes trade enquiries from bars, restaurants, retailers and other hospitality businesses looking for a reliable partner to supply their rum. We work with many of the leading wholesalers across the UK and have a good supply network to reach venues nationwide.

Q: Can I discuss private label or white label rum with DropWorks?
A: Yes. We can discuss private and white label opportunities for suitable projects, including businesses looking to create a more bespoke rum offer. When getting in touch it is really helpful to have an outline of your brief – the style of liquid you are looking to create, as well as estimated initial order volumes, frequency and timings you would like to achieve.

Q: Who should I contact about trade enquiries?
A:
Please email chris@dropworks.co.uk and include a short outline of your business or project.

Q: What should I include in my enquiry?
A:
It helps to include your business name, enquiry type, estimated volumes, timeline, and whether you are looking for wholesale supply or a private / white label discussion.

Q: What is the difference between third party supply, white label, bulk spirit supply and private label?

A: Third party supply, white label, bulk spirit supply and private label are all ways of getting your product(s) to market, but they differ in who controls the product, how bespoke it is and how it’s branded. We are more than happy to talk you through all of this, and, after understanding your brief, advise on which of these terms is relevant for your specific project.
