This is an awesome opportunity to design your very own Drop and make an impact in the world of British Rum by taking part in a cask creation service that has never been seen before on this scale!
Whether you are a savvy solo purchaser, or an entrepreneurial ensemble, becoming a bespoke barrel owner is easy and boasts a host of long term rewards!
Your very own cask
With 100 barrels available in this Drop, this is a limited opportunity to be part of the biggest British Rum barrel ownership program and gaining access to quality Rum at a discounted price when bottled.
Whatever you choose to do with your very own aged Rum is totally up to you, but know that you will be spreading joy with the most enjoyable Drops imaginable!
How it works
1.) Drop us a line – email casks@dropworks.co.uk so we can talk you through the different liquid and cask options available, as well as provide you with our terms of sale.
2.) Choose your Drop and cask. We make this easy with 3 recommended options. Have some bespoke requests? Great! You can speak with our Master Blender to help guide you through the process with your unique requirements in mind. We have lots of information to help you decide!
3.) It’s official! After receiving payment, your cask will be created! You’re invited to join us on this momentous occasion, or enjoy a video to watch in your own time, should you prefer. You will also receive your ownership certificate – nice!
4.) Wait for it to mature – your cask will be aged for as long as you wish. We recommend a maturation period as set out above and up to 5 years of storage is included in your purchase price.
5.) Receive progress updates – receive an annual taster of your Rum either in person at the Distillery or through the post.
6.) Enjoy! Your Rum has matured into a beautifully aged spirit and is now ready for the glass – and it is all yours! Choose what to do with it; bottle it for your own supply, gift it to your family, friends and colleagues – the options really are endless!
