I bought my Dad a distillery tour as a gift and fun Dad-daughter experience and it didn’t disappoint. Darren, our guide, was relaxed and knowledgeable and a fantastic host. The tour started in the bar, then we were walked through... read more the whole process and got to try their five different rums as we went around. No tiny tasting measures here - take a designated driver, or accept the offer to take them home for later! The time flew by and we were there far longer than the advertised tour length. No pressure to buy anything at the end, but you’ll want to! A great experience, and delicious rums too.

Went on the private tour which was hosted by Darren. Really impressive setup and Darren was very knowledgeable about all things rum. Would definitely go again and recommend it to any one that loves rum.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and of course the rum. Darren the guide was excellent, very knowledgeable but also funny, making the time there fly by.

We went for my husbands 60th birthday. Fantastic afternoon. Darren is extremely knowledgeable regarding rum distillery and the history of rum as well as Welbeck estate. It was so interesting and we learnt so much. The rums were superb and... read more so diverse and unique. The staff were so friendly and the whole experience was terrific. Thoroughly recommend.

Brilliant! Darren was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The rum is delicious and all set in the fabulous Welbeck estate.
Signage to the distillery is not great atm but this should be rectified soon (the issue is out of the distillery's... read more hands). Until the signs are up, putting "DropWorks Rum Distillery" straight into google maps works just fine. Alternatively, you can use what 3 words (details on the distillery web site).
Toilets on site and there is minimal walking, but much drinking!
