Really fun and interesting tour with Darren. Delicious samples. I'd recommend considering the temperature when visiting, the building is big and was pretty cold in winter.

This Rum is almost like a completely new spirit but just because it’s like no other rum I’ve tasted before.

Today we went to the rum tasting at dropworks. Great place very educational in rum production. Darren the guide slash host for hospitable and and explained everything well. Darren also made it fun he's acredit to the business

Brilliant - if you've not done the tour, sampled the rum, enjoyed the experience - then get booked on. The distillery is in the Welbeck Estate, in a beautiful old building adapted for the distillery. Darren, ... read more our tour host, is exceptionally generous with the rum measures !!! Exceptionally generous with his knowledge and time given to you, and this is an exceptionally good value gift for someone (which is our case). If a driver, you are given samples to take home. We certainly knew very little about rum - and in truth - would probably say we didn't particularly like rum - we do now !! Go wrapped up if winter, it's fairly cool inside. Comfy bar area, toilets, parking - all good.

Amazing tour - Darren is a legend, really knows his stuff and brings the process to life. You don't need to be a Rum geek to enjoy this - i'm not 😃 (although seriously considering becoming one since the... read more tour!)🤓🍹. Also don't be put off if the tickets seem to be sold out for your chosen slot...I got in touch by email and they were very helpful.

Visited Drop Works yesterday on our way to a weekend away and what a little gem of a place. Darren who did the tour was so knowledgeable about the whole distilling process. It was really fascinating. If we come back... read more this way we will be sure to visit again and if you’re in the area take a detour there. And because I was the designated driver I was able to take away some samples of the rum to taste later.
