Your safety and happiness are the stars of the show here, and we’re all about making your experience amazing! 🌟 So, before you embark on your Rum adventure, take a moment to check out these awesome safety measures we’ve put in place just for you:

1. Terms and Conditions

INFORMATION ABOUT US

Tours, experiences and events (“Experiences”) at The DropWorks Distillery (the “Distillery”) are operated by Modern Rum Limited (“we”, “the company”, “The DropWorks Distillery”). Modern Rum Limited is registered in England at 15 Ebers Road Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG3 5DY with registered company number 13739796.

The following Booking Terms and Conditions, as well as any information contained in the booking form or tickets provided to you, apply to all bookings for Experiences at the Distillery. They shall be deemed to commence upon booking ticket(s) for an Experience.

ONLINE BOOKING SERVICE AND WEBSITE

We will endeavour to ensure that the information displayed on the website is current and accurate. However, we cannot be held liable for any errors. We reserve the right to change or withdraw the Experiences on the website without any prior notice.

YOUR OBLIGATIONS:

Upon booking tickets for an Experience, you warrant that:

• You are 18 years old or over (noting we operate a challenge 25 policy and may ask to see your ID).
• All details you have provided for yourself or other guests are correct to the best of your knowledge.
• The total amount for the booking is able to be paid for in full from the account.
• You and other guests that you are booking for will abide by these Booking Terms and Conditions.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO THE EXPERIENCE

All Experiences are subject to availability and may be altered or cancelled at any time. On arrival, you must show the booking confirmation email for your party prior to entry to the Distillery, as proof of payment. 

All visitors may be subject to an age check on arrival at the Distillery, so visitors should bring photo identification (“ID”) to the Distillery. [We operate a Challenge 25 policy. If our staff believe or suspect any visitor who wishes to consume alcohol is under 25, that visitor will be asked to produce photo ID.] In that event, if you cannot produce valid photo ID, you may not participate in any part of the Experience where alcohol is consumed. Valid photo ID in this case can be a passport or a driving license. We cannot accept photos of these documents as proof of ID. 

Concessions discount (10% discount) is available. To qualify for a concessions discount, you need to prove one of the following: 

• You are aged 65 or over (photo ID); or
• Students carrying a valid NUS card; or
• Military personnel (Military ID)

Children age eight and older are welcome to attend the tour, free of charge and will be served a non-alcoholic substitute. Any guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. Please do add a note when booking to confirm that you are bringing a child with you. Children’s admittance into the Distillery will be at the discretion of the team onsite as we want to ensure safety at all times.

Ticket holders for the Experiences (including disabled guests and groups) must arrive at the Distillery 10 minutes before the specified arrival times. Latecomers will not be admitted to the Experience except at the absolute discretion of The Distillery. We reserve the right to refuse admission to the Distillery. 

As a working distillery, we cannot allow visitors with high heels or open-toed shoes Please ensure that you wear sensible footwear to the Distillery.

There is no smoking or vaping within 300 meters of the Distillery.

5. Health and Safety Disclaimer at Start of Tour

At the start of every tour, our safety superheroes aka the DropWorks team will cover the following points:

• Fire Alarm test
  • If there is a scheduled test, guests will be informed of the timing and that no action is to be taken.
  • If there is no scheduled test, guests will be informed of this and told to follow the fire evacuation procedure in the event of a fire alarm
• Fire Exit
  • Both exits which are clearly marked will be pointed out to guests.
  • Guests will be informed of the fire evacuation procedure including exit route and assembly point (minimum of 50m away from the site).
  • Fire alarm – consequences for the tour
• Health and Saftey
  • Instructions on the following will be provided:
    • Location of the toilets will be pointed out at the start. 
    • No smoking or vaping within 300 meters of the Distillery.
    • Closed Toed, flat shoes must be worn.
    • Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
    • All instructions must be followed.
    • Guests must keep to the marked walkways and refrain from touching any of the equipment.
      • Some equipment can heat to extremely hot temperatures and therefore there is a risk of burning. Please follow instructions from the team to prevent any issues.
