Enjoy all of the fun of our classic Rum distillery tour, but in a private group, with an even deeper dive into the science behind the products! Yes, really!
The tour includes a welcome drink or cocktail in the DropWorks Rum Bar on arrival, where we give you all of the information needed for you to enjoy your stay with us, followed by a walk through of our production process, our bespoke equipment, including the first double retort in England and an impressively large 8 plate column! There will be plenty of Rum tastings, including some of our latest cask Rums, as well as a deep-dive into the science behind our products and a sneak peek into the latest Drop(s) which haven’t made their way out of the Distillery doors yet!
There will also be plenty of chances for a Meet the Maker Q&A with our Head Distiller, Founder or CEO, a free sample of Rum to take home as well as a 10% discount in the gift shop. What more could you want?!

We went for my husbands 60th birthday. Fantastic afternoon. Darren is extremely knowledgeable regarding rum distillery and the history of rum as well as Welbeck estate. It was so interesting and we learnt so much. The rums were superb and... read more so diverse and unique. The staff were so friendly and the whole experience was terrific. Thoroughly recommend.

Brilliant! Darren was very entertaining and knowledgeable. The rum is delicious and all set in the fabulous Welbeck estate.
Signage to the distillery is not great atm but this should be rectified soon (the issue is out of the distillery's... read more hands). Until the signs are up, putting "DropWorks Rum Distillery" straight into google maps works just fine. Alternatively, you can use what 3 words (details on the distillery web site).
Toilets on site and there is minimal walking, but much drinking!

Really fun and interesting tour with Darren. Delicious samples.
I'd recommend considering the temperature when visiting, the building is big and was pretty cold in winter.

We did the tour today with Darren and what a joy it was. Darren was a brilliant knowledgeable host and very generous with the samples. Drivers were also catered for with samples to take home so they didn't miss out.... read more All in all we would definitely recommend it to everyone.
