Enjoy all of the fun of our classic Rum distillery tour, but in a private group, with an even deeper dive into the science behind the products! Yes, really!
The tour includes a welcome drink or cocktail in the DropWorks Rum Bar on arrival, where we give you all of the information needed for you to enjoy your stay with us, followed by a walk through of our production process, our bespoke equipment, including the first double retort in England and an impressively large 8 plate column! There will be plenty of Rum tastings, including some of our latest cask Rums, as well as a deep-dive into the science behind our products and a sneak peek into the latest Drop(s) which haven’t made their way out of the Distillery doors yet!
There will also be plenty of chances for a Meet the Maker Q&A with our Head Distiller, Founder or CEO, a free sample of Rum to take home as well as a 10% discount in the gift shop. What more could you want?!

Excellent from the first Drop to the last, we met The Oracle (when you go on the tour you'll understand the reference 😉) we will never drink rum the same way again, really is a fascinating process and throughly enjoyable... read more educational experience, we would highly recommend going as group or as a couple if you want to expand your rum knowledge this is the place to go, and go in a taxi !!!

The generous rum tastings throughout are a real highlight, giving you the chance to sample a fantastic selection along the way.I'd highly recommend this experience to anyone (not just rum enthusiasts). An added bonus is its location on the Welbeck Estate, so you can spend time exploring the beautiful gardens, café, and farm shop afterwards, making it a wonderful day out.

Had a very informative tour of the distillery. Craig was an awesome host and we learnt a great deal while having a good laugh. What a great experience. Do visit this distillery
As the driver I thought i'd be left out but was pleasantly pleased to be given samples to take home.
Darren was a wonderful, knowledgable and entertaining host. We got the full benefit... read more of his knowledge of the processes in the making of this distinctive rum, and were able to ask q's,and to to smell the stills, amazing.
What a great time
We also continued our time on the rest of the estate so spent the whole day there. We visited the galleries, the museum, the garden centre, and the trails as well as walking to the craggs as well
What a great day went home with 3 bottles..... 🙂
