Enjoy all of the fun of our classic Rum distillery tour, but in a private group, with an even deeper dive into the science behind the products! Yes, really!
The tour includes a welcome drink or cocktail in the DropWorks Rum Bar on arrival, where we give you all of the information needed for you to enjoy your stay with us, followed by a walk through of our production process, our bespoke equipment, including the first double retort in England and an impressively large 8 plate column! There will be plenty of Rum tastings, including some of our latest cask Rums, as well as a deep-dive into the science behind our products and a sneak peek into the latest Drop(s) which haven’t made their way out of the Distillery doors yet!
There will also be plenty of chances for a Meet the Maker Q&A with our Head Distiller, Founder or CEO, a free sample of Rum to take home as well as a 10% discount in the gift shop. What more could you want?!

Absolutely a great time on this tasting and distillery tour, Darren our host was very informative and passionate about thier rum and thier distillery and the rum industry in general. We had a welcome rum cocktail and then tasting of... read more all thier rums. The samples were generous, any body driving were giving smaller samples and then 2 x 50 ml bottles of thier personal favourite to take home. We never understood the rum industry and the different whys it us made, we have a much better understanding now, and a appreciation of good English rum. Recommend this to anyone who likes rum.

Excellent tour, Darren and the team are all very knowledgeable. Rum is excellent, 100% better than you can buy in the supermarket, a very enjoyable day.

Enjoyed two hours of interesting information from Darren on the “joys” of distilling rum at Drop Works. Cannot speak highly enough of our visit, not only informative but very entertaining. Well worth a visit.

My partner and i thouroughly enjoyed the DropWorks rum distillery tour this morning..Our tour guide, Darren, was very knowledgeable, interesting and very enthusiastic. We learned so much, and got to taste several of the rums made there. ... read more Although we did buy a bottle, there was absolutely no pressure put on us to do so. I would highly recommend the tour..which we finished off with a coffee in the garden centre next door.
