Enjoy all of the fun of our classic Rum distillery tour, but in a private group, with an even deeper dive into the science behind the products! Yes, really!
The tour includes a welcome drink or cocktail in the DropWorks Rum Bar on arrival, where we give you all of the information needed for you to enjoy your stay with us, followed by a walk through of our production process, our bespoke equipment, including the first double retort in England and an impressively large 8 plate column! There will be plenty of Rum tastings, including some of our latest cask Rums, as well as a deep-dive into the science behind our products and a sneak peek into the latest Drop(s) which haven’t made their way out of the Distillery doors yet!
There will also be plenty of chances for a Meet the Maker Q&A with our Head Distiller, Founder or CEO, a free sample of Rum to take home as well as a 10% discount in the gift shop. What more could you want?!

Both me and my brother had a great tour around the distillery today within the welbeck Estate. Welcomed with a smile and was gifted with a warm cocktail described as a rum take on a mulled wine.

A fascinating, educational, fun tour of the distillery. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and the "tasters" were flowing🤪. However, designated driver gets to take their tasters home so no-one misses out. A great couple of hours and well worth a... read more visit.

We got a great deal on a booking for the distillery tour. On arrival at the stunning Welbeck estate, we were greeted by Darren, who showed us straight to the bar for a hot rum vocktail. Very welcome as it... read more was below freezing on the day. Around 15 people were on the tour. All offered both alcoholic or soft drinks. Darren presented a lot of great information in a fun and informal way. Darrens knowledge and enthusiasm shines through and we found the tour engaging, entertaining and learned a lot. I gound a new respect for the way this snalll company is ensuting the quality of rum making is upheld. Be prepared for quality rum. This tastes more like whiskies than the usual suspects you are used to. A fancinating look at an industry that needs our support. We travelled from Nottingham ti Worksop by train and got a taxi to the distillery. Another option would be to go to Cresswell and vusit the caves, then take a 25 min walk to the Welbeck estate. Thank you Darren and thank you all for a great product.

Very friendly and informative tour, would highly recommend.Be warned, their tasters are large measures, you will leave feeling very merry!

Brilliant experience for everyone whether or not one’s a rum person.
Darren is a wonderful host with an endless knowledge about their procedures, products, and how to make quality drinks. Doing all this with such enthusiasm and high spirit (pun intended)... read more one cannot help but falls in love with the place.
